National Cement Company (NCC) is located at Tebeen, 29KM south of Cairo and 7KM South of Helwan.

The company was established in 1956 and owned totalyy by egyptian government. The company started production with a total production capacity of 230 000 ton per day.

Developing began by adding new line as follows:

• 1^st extention 1969:  Total production capacity 210 000 tons/year.
• 2^nd extention 1974: Total production capacity 360 000 tons/year.
• 3^rd extention 1978: Total production capacity 1 350 000 tons/year.
• 4^th extention 1984: Total production capacity 1 350 000 tons/year.

The company production was gradually raised till it reached 3.05 million tons per year and our next target is to reach 3.5 million tons per year.

In addition, the company has installed the following projects:

• Gypsum plant.
• Cement brick plant.
• Cement bags plant.

In view of that, National Cement Company (NCC) is considered one of the largest and most comprensive companies in Egypt.
